A quick post:
I am SO excited for St. Patricks Day!! I know that some people think this is weird but it really is my favorite Holiday! Okay, so maybe it's mostly because I absolutely LOVE the food that goes with it: corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, etc. but I also really love how carefree of a holiday it is. So anyway, I'm totally stoked about my new "Green" blog for the next few weeks. The other REAL reason why I love St. Patty's day is because that's the day Mickey gave me my engagement ring and made our engagement "official". He even gave it to me in a green velvet box because he knew I loved St. Patty's day. (yes, I still have the box!). So anyway, I'm stoked for the upcoming festivities. I plan on making a big dinner to celebrate, maybe some of us should make it a group event?! If you're interested, let me know!
My Mom was never into the Easter bunny, so as a kid we always hid shamrocks and candy all over the house to find. Weird, yeah. I never painted easter eggs until I got married, but I do remember celebrating St. Patty's Day!

ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how people don't think the engagement is 'official' until there is a ring involved? lol. I remember when I didn't have my ring until a month later and I was getting looks like 'are you sure?' from my coworkers. It amused me greatly.
ReplyDeleteWe did the corned beef and cabbage when I was growing up but frankly I am not the biggest fan. I suck, I know. :) I hope you guys have a lot of fun! Do you make traps for the leprechauns? I was thinking of making one with A this year.
LOVE to background! My favorite holiday is 4th of July, for a lot of the same reasons! Will and I started dating on the 4th and so its really special to me!
