Family Pictures

What an insane week we have had! I know it's Tuesday but from last Tuesday to today, it's just been nuts I'm telling you! My brother finally returned back to the States two weeks ago from a 6 month Muse which kept him mostly in Japan but also took him to the Phillipines and a few other places. He got leave a few days after returning home and they came into town to visit their families (he and his wife, Alisa, are currently stationed at Camp Pendleton in San Diego, CA).
They are here until Thursday. Because they came down and it has been so long since we last saw her, my Aunty Lynnda (mom's sister) also came up from Boerne, TX! It has been just SO much fun to have her here to play. This was the first time that she and Tim have met Amiah so that has been very special. Tonight is her last night here :o( and we are having a "Girls" night out so I will post more pictures of that as they come in.

Last Wed we had family pictures taken of my WHOLE family (my parents and all their kids and gran kids). It was quite an ordeal. It was pretty much caos for a little over an hour straight:

Luckily the photographer was able to get a few lucky shots in:

She also did some shots of each individual family for us. These are my favorites of us:

(PJ decided at the beginning of the photo shoot that he was no longer a little boy, but a FROG instead. He kept "leaping" around the room and just wouldn't stay put!)

(This is the ONLY shot of PJ and Amiah we could get. PJ wouldn't sit still)(Sorry about the sideways couple shot. I don't know why but Blogger keeps turning it that way no matter how I try to load it!)
For the most part they are good, but I must say, it's difficult sometimes to see yourself through the lens of a camera. But I figure these will just be great "before" shots for my weightloss and lifestyle change endevor.

  2. sideways or not - you look very pretty in that picture with you and Mickey. Even though he decided to be a frog for the night - PJ actually makes a very cute frog. And of course, love Amiah's hat!

  4. You look great in that last shot (all of them, actually, but I especially like that last one). Your kiddos are so cute. And yay for your brother being home!
