  1. Way easy (and very tasty) stroganoff (sp?)

1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
    some sour cream
    some milk
1 bag of cooked egg noodles
1 lb of hamburger or stew meat

Fry up the hamburger (or slow cook the stew meat)--season as you choose. Add both cans of soup, some sour cream, and some milk (if needed, to make it less thick) to the meat. Heat through. Add the noodles. And you are done. (I made the whole thing in a slow cooker. The stew meat made enough juice as it cooked that I didn't need to add any milk.)

    Tasty soup-type thing
    1 lb of hamburger
    2 cans of beef broth
2 cans of dark red kidney beans
1 large can of diced tomatoes
    macaroni noodles

Fry the hamburger in a large saucepan (season as you choose). Drain and put back in the pan. Add beef broth, kidney beans (drain and rinse the beans), and tomatoes (add juice and all). Bring to a boil, and simmer for a few minutes. Add some macaroni noodles (add as many or as few as you choose. I like more noodles. A friend of mine likes it soupier, so she likes less noodles.). It's done when the macaroni is done.

Those are two of my favorites. Cheap, tasty, and filling. Andy loved both of them, which is also a good thing since he is such a picky eater sometimes.

  2. I love taco soup (ground beef seasoned with taco seasoning, undrained cans of beans - you pick what kind: chili beans, pinto beans, black beans and kidney bean are my favs - then add a small can of green chilis and corn. Eat topped with sour cream and tortilla chips. Ready in about 15 minutes.) Also, I like to make all of my left over meat into a pot pie. (Buy the cheap pie crust - two to a pack - add meat and carrots, potatoes and seasoning or gravy and Bake) I know these are super simple. I have a few more if you need them!

  3. Here's my new favorite caserole: http://www.bhg.com/recipe/poultry/tex-mex-chicken-and-rice-casserole/
I think its pretty easy--the only hard thing is planning ahead to cook the chicken. I usually mix in cheese and add some on top, and you can use any rice mix you want.
Speaking of recipies, can you send me your sweet potato pie recipe from last Thanksgiving?

  6. Angela introduced me to the coolest website. www.e-mealz.com Every week they post a new menu along with the grocery list. You can tell them where you shop and the menu will be based on the sale ads for that week. It only costs $5 a month and Angela said the meals are tasty and easy (even Jared put one together)
