Superman

Yes, Superman has arrived at the Christoffersen household. When we moved into our new place PJ decided to "help" put the DVD's away and discovered his dad's collection of the original Superman Movies. He wanted to watch them so we put one in. And so the obsession began. He quickly put together that he had pajama's that had Superman on them as well as slippers. We now are lucky to watch anything except Superman on TV or get him OUT of these jammies. It's so funny. He especially likes to watch them on "PJ's TV" (our portable DVD player) and it just so happens that the dump truck makes it just the right height for him to see it.

Yesterday he had some blood work to do so we decided to not fight him on wearing them out of the house. He couldn't decide which hat to wear (the yellow hat is his FAVORITE hat that NEVER leaves his head even to sleep and we bought him the superman hoping he would ditch the yellow...didn't work) so he decided to wear them both. Yes, we actually allowed our two and a half year old to go out in public wearing whatever he chose. We stopped at the public library and he played on the kids "bookmobile." This is the best shot I could get of his attire:

Everyone kept staring at him and giggling. He thought he was so cool though, and really I could care less what anyone thought. He was happy and proud to be Superman. He especially loves to "fly" when the theme song is playing

On another note: Yes, I am STILL pregnant. I know I know...I'm only 37 1/2 weeks so I probably SHOULD still be pregnant. But we are growing impatient. I'm so done being pregnant it's not even funny and I'm pretty positive Mickey is ready for her to be out of my belly and in his arms. This week at the Dr they told us that if she hasn't come by 39 weeks and I want to they will go ahead and induce me. I was hoping to avoid the whole "induction" part of delivery this time but we will see what happens. But for those of you interested, I caught a belly wave on video a few weeks ago and thought you might like to see a glimpse of what my belly does CONSTANTLY now.

We will happily keep you posted as her arrival nears. Max of 3 weeks to go.... hopefully less!

  1. That's funny. Jocelyn is convinced that she is Robin and I am Batman. Pretty soon we can form the Justice League.
