Leaving on a jet plane...

So tomorrow is the "big day" for PJ and I. Whoa. We fly out at 7 am from Charlotte and then go to JFK in New York for a nearly four hour lay over. (Not my ideal way of visiting New York the first time...) and then we fly to Denver and should get in a little before 3 or so. My sisters will pick us up on the other end and I will stay and harass them for a few weeks until we get into our own place and our stuff shows up. Mickey will drive out starting on the 30th and should arrive sometime on the 2nd. I can't believe how quickly this is all happening.
Saying "Goodbye" to the friends we have made has been harder than I thought. I really have grown to love a lot of the women here and am sad to leave them. But thank goodness for the wonders of technology and the advanced forms of communication we have now. I'm sure we'll get to keep in touch. I have been really bad about getting pictures of everyone to show so that's not very nice of me either. Sorry.
Today was PJ's last day of preschool. I was pretty bummed. The poor kid really has no clue what's going on. He just trusts we'll keep doing what's best for him. (If only I had that kind of faith sometimes!!) His teachers have been so great and so good with him. I will miss that part of his routine every week. I hope we can find as good of a preschool for him in Cheyenne for him to start this fall.
We have been very blessed to have been given so many baby girl cloths for our upcoming arrival. Pays to be in the right place at the right time, because she has nearly all the cloths she'll need until she is 18mo! I went through them all last night to catogorize them according to size and holding all those little pink cloths and panti-loons (you know the little frilly pants that cover the diapers when little girls are wearing dresses) got me really excited to have a little girl. I hope she has hair when she comes out. Other wise, I have a feeling I'll be one of those annoying mom's that uses corn syrup to stick a bow to her bald head. We'll see though.
Anyway, pretty uneventful blog. Just thought I'd update really quick and let you all know what was going on.

  2. The best of luck tomorrow. I wouldn't want to spend four hours in JFK either. I'd want to be out there exploring!!! :) Hope you have fun and that the trip goes by quickly.

Actually, KY Jelly works REALLY well. It was the only thing I could get to work for the girls' bows (plus, that is what the hospital used). Anyway, it sounds silly but it works. :)

Or Elmer's glue (not kidding. you would actually know the person who used this for their girl).

Look forward to seeing you around town! Let me know if you need anything. :)
