After a long day in Denver yesterday we decided to try and end on a high note and hold our Second Annual Pumpkin Patch event. We went to the same patch we went to last year: (I am posting these pictures NOW because I must have merely dreamed I blogged about this LAST year but lo, I didn't! I cannot even tell you how sad I am about this!)
And we really had a lot of fun! Unfortunately the patch wasn't as plentiful as last year and for some reason the whole patch was overgrown with tall stickery weeds which made it difficult to navigate. Irregardless, we found some pumpkins for carving and making pies, petted some furry friends, watched pumpkins be shot out of a huge pumpkin gun and played in a hay maze. All to the tune of $13. (that included the honey stix and water we splurged on too :o) It was certainly a happy ending to our Friday. (Unfortunately I forgot to put batteries in our digital camera...so once again, the low-quality pictures are courtesy of the 'ol Blackberry)
