Happenings

Owen is officially two weeks old today! I can't believe it! I think I could quite possibly be delusional right now but while the transition hasn't been EASY it has been surprisingly smooth. I feel more like myself than ever and the kids have all taken to sharing the attention pretty well. Unfortunately, email blogging doesn't allow me to place a picture and then a caption immediately after. But I will explain them anyway.
PJ and I have an understanding. After preschool he can change into ANYTHING he wants, as long as he does it all by himself. A few days ago he pulled out his homemade Spiderman costume and proceeded to conquer the car seat box while being entranced with some terrible kids show on Nick Jr. I couldn't help snapping the kodak moment.
Amiah is quite the writer. One might think she is just scribbling but she will tell you otherwise. She is "writing" letters and stories. It's so adorable and she loves it. She has claimed this fun little desk as her own (thanks again Jacque L.) And then sits down with her pen and paper and starts writing away. I can't wait to read what she writes in a few years!
The two of them have also taken to wrestling. Amiah ambushed PJ while he was "relaxing" on the floor. It was adorable!
PJ is loving having Owen around. He is just so proud to have a little brother and is such a big help!
I can tell Owen is growing quickly. He is already too long for his homecoming jammies and his double chin has officially arrived. He is so adorable and such a good baby. Rarely cries and just likes to take it all in!
